Cookies

Strictly necessary

NEXT_LOCALE remembers whether you are reading the site in English or Slovenian, so you are not sent back to the wrong language on your next visit. It contains a two-letter language code and nothing else. It is strictly necessary under the ePrivacy Directive, which is why you are not asked to consent to it.

We also store your cookie choice itself in your browser, so that we do not ask you on every page. It is kept in local storage rather than a cookie, which means it is never sent to our servers.

Analytics, only with your consent

If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets the following cookies in your browser:

_ga distinguishes one browser from another. Expires after two years.

_ga_<container-id> keeps session state for this property. Expires after two years.

We use this only to see which pages are read, which products get attention, and where people leave. IP addresses are anonymised. We have not enabled Google Signals, advertising features or remarketing, and we do not use analytics data to target anyone.

Google Analytics is operated by Google Ireland Limited, with processing also taking place in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Nothing is requested from Google until you have accepted. If you decline, no Google script is loaded at all, not even a cookieless one.

What we still do not do

No advertising or retargeting pixels. No social media embeds. No fingerprinting. No cookie wall. The site works exactly the same whichever choice you make.

Fonts are served from this website rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not disclose your IP address to a third party.

Changing your mind

Select Cookie settings at the foot of any page. Turning analytics off takes effect immediately and deletes the Google Analytics cookies already in your browser.

You can also install Google's own opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings.

Partner area

If a partner login is added, signing in will set a session cookie that keeps you logged in. That cookie is strictly necessary for the login to work and is only set once you choose to sign in.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the language cookie will not break the site; it will simply forget your language preference between visits.
